Already using this WhatsApp number somewhere else? Test Veriorders first with Meta's free sandbox test number and a temporary access token, both generated instantly from the Meta App Dashboard with no business verification needed. The test number only messages phone numbers added manually as testers, so add your own number to watch the full confirmation flow work end to end. Switch to a real number and a permanent token only once ready to go live. Any existing WhatsApp setup elsewhere stays untouched the whole time.

Create a Meta Business Account
Head to business.facebook.com and set up a free Meta Business Manager account, if you don't already have one.

Verify Your Business Number
Add your business phone number inside Meta's system and verify it for WhatsApp Business API access.

Enter Your Credentials in Veriorders
Once verified, open Settings inside the Veriorders app and paste in your WhatsApp Business Phone Number ID and a permanent access token (not a temporary one). If you created your own Meta app, add its App Secret in the third box too.

Don't know where to find these?
- In Meta Business Manager, go to your WhatsApp Business Account, then API Setup.
- Your Phone Number ID is listed right there next to your verified number.
- Under System Users, create (or reuse) a system user, assign it your WhatsApp Business Account, and generate a token with an Expiration: Neversetting. That's your permanent access token.
- Your App Secret is under App settings → Basic. You only need it if you built your own Meta app.

Switch On Replies
Sending and receiving are set up separately. Point Meta's webhook back at Veriorders so your customers' answers actually reach us. Skip this and your messages still go out, but a customer replying 'yes' changes nothing and the order waits unconfirmed.

Both values are shown on your Veriorders Settings page, ready to copy. In Meta, open your WhatsApp settings, find Webhooks, click Edit, paste them in, then subscribe to the messages field.

Confirmations now send automatically from your own number, and replies come straight back.

Setup usually takes around 15-30 minutes once your Meta account and WhatsApp number are ready. Before going live with a permanent number, Meta may also ask you to verify your business. This can be quick, or it can take longer if you don't have documents like a business registration or bank statement on hand. Testing with the sandbox number in the meantime doesn't require this step at all.
